8 Personal Year | December is an 11/2 Personal Month

End-of-Year Reflection 🎁

December is a super-charged month for you! Lots of spiritual activity and potential insight is prepped and ready for the taking. It’s a lot of “hurry up and wait,” yet the emphasis is on your relationship dynamics, however those are demanding your attention right now.

Take time to acknowledge how everything you’ve experienced in your 8 Personal Year has tested your sense of empowerment and pushed you to ask for what you’re worth!

This has been a boot-camp year for you, demanding endurance, commitment, and fierce resolve.

As you enter into this month empowered by the high-vibe energy of the Master 11/2 (the energy of your Personal Month),  you might be privy to some profound levels of empowerment that change you forever.

Do you feel more empowered now than you did on January 1? Have you been able to manage and advance your financial picture? Do you have a punch-list of accomplishments for the year? Did you leap any small buildings in a single bound?

Remember that the 8 is the number of Infinity. It’s all about the continuous flow of energy — money is energy, emotions are energy, thoughts are energy, words are energy.

Here’s a heady (and simultaneously simple!) quote from Albert Einstein. It speaks to the way you might position yourself as you step into the final throes of your 8 Personal Year.

He states: “Everything is energy and that’s all that there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics.”

The flow for you right now is that the tide is out rather than in. Now’s the time for some slow downs and delays. This month you might find yourself seeking out help and advice from others — a happy respite from feeling like a one-man or one-woman show all year long.

It’s the time to pay attention to details. It’s all about relationships, love, and partnerships. This is an enlightening month if only you can slow down enough to notice synchronicities and tone it down for a moment.

Yet remember that even as things might be blazing forward, there will be some delays and moments that are designed to test your patience. You’ll feel some nervous tension, yet banish that with some outdoor walks with your sweetheart, cooking with the kids, or social time with your friends.

As you leave your 8 Personal Year and enter into your 9 Personal Year next month, take some time to consider what was the locus of your hard-driving year. What did you focus on? What were your over-arching intentions?

Did you find yourself feeling strong, enlivened, and empowered? Did you experience some surges with your finances?

Perhaps you ended up having a somewhat volatile year with many ups and downs that tested your sense of yourself from all angles?

What did you work on developing or creating in your dynamic 8 Personal Year? Did you feel beaten down or were you able to step into yourself in a way that you never have before?

Perhaps the year brought some unexpected issues to be faced—some deeper issues that were potentially initially explored during your prior 7 Personal Year?

Maybe you’re simply feeling the organic move into the next phase and are looking at a mosaic of choice about how it might look, feel, and come to fruition.

This is the end of a very powerful year.

I’m trusting you’ve met your challenges and amped up your financial abundance and prosperity while also setting some solid and clear boundaries that have expanded your sense of self-empowerment.

This year has been all about organization, focus, management, and making things happen.

This upcoming year (2025) is the time to release yourself from overdrive and flow more than push. The upcoming year will be a bridge for you where you begin to shake out what stays and what goes.

It’s almost like panning for gold. You’ll get to shake and filter the pan as you sift out the elements that you don’t want or need. At the end of it you’ll be left with some nice gold nuggets and yet it takes some patience, finesse, and time to slough off whatever holds no value anymore.

2025 culminates the end of a cycle for you. Think of it like a year-long commencement exercise that starts in January.  You’ve been asked to take charge and paddle your canoe all year this year. Now you’ll hit a point in the river where you cease paddling, place the paddles inside the boat, and go where the boat and the current takes you.

I’m dropping some vital astrological information into this forecast. Although I’m not an astrologer (I leave that to my astrology experts, primarily among them Tali & Ophira Edut “The AstroTwins”), as a numerologist, I find that the information both numerology and astrology offer is always intimately connected.

Astrologically, we’re making a massive shift.

As of November 19, 2024, the planet Pluto moved from Capricorn (where it declared residency for the past 16 years — since 2008) and into the sign of Aquarius.  The AstroTwins offer this outline:

Pluto’s upcoming journey through Aquarius, a sign of revolution, innovation, and the collective. From November 19 to Jan. 19, 2044, Pluto will ignite a new era of transformation, one that could radically redefine power structures and usher in a future where equality and freedom take center stage.

Pluto’s return to Aquarius could usher in another wave of societal transformation, and astrologers already feel it brewing.

While that might seem like a far-off ideal, Pluto has been known to deliver extreme shifts when it enters a new sign. While Capricorn clings to tradition, Aquarius is all about breaking free from convention and embracing the future.

The last time Pluto moved through Aquarius was from 1778 to 1798, and the world went through seismic shifts, from the American Revolution to the French Revolution. This era also dovetailed with the early days of the Industrial Revolution, which completely changed how societies functioned as we replaced farmed and handcrafted goods with machine-made and processed ones.

Pluto’s return to Aquarius could usher in another wave of societal transformation, and astrologers already feel it brewing. There could be a push toward systems that are more egalitarian, tech-driven, and inclusive as we move away from top-down structures to a more collective, grassroots energy.

With that said, this coincides with a powerful and transitional 9 Universal Year. If you’d like to know more about the 9 Universal Year and how to maximize its potential, see my 2025 Numerology Guide.

Those of you who’ve followed me for a while know that I’m someone who offers different schools of thought as they show up in numerology—pointing out different modes of calculating the numbers and disparate ways different numerologist’s do things.

I have always pointed out that there are two schools of thought about the Personal Year. I’m hesitant to do constant reminders about it because, let’s be honest, it can be confusing! And let’s be honest again: Many people just want the 25-second byte of info without thinking much about it.

Be that as it may, I am going to remind you that there are two schools of thought about the Personal Year. Most numerologist’s use the January 1 – December 31st mode of thinking. Others proffer that the Personal Year is more like a solar return (for those of you who’re astrology-minded), instead running from birthday-to-birthday.

If you’re born at the first of the year, this doesn’t effect you as much. Yet once you hit mid-year and beyond, this can really make a difference. And how do you know what’s right and what’s not right?  BY HOW YOU FEEL! It’s up to each of us to feel it out and see what feels right to us individually.

**The key to avoid as much confusion if you want to explore the birthday-to-birthday scenario:  You would calculate your Personal Year based on the year of YOUR LAST BIRTHDAY. So if you’re reading this right now and your birthday is November 11, you would calculate your Personal Year by adding the Month + Day + LAST YEAR (2023).

In this example, it is 11 + 11 + 7 (2 + 0 + 2 + 3 = 7) = 29; and 2+9 = 11.  Up until 11/11, you’re in an 11/2 Personal Year and then you CHANGE INTO THE 3 PERSONAL YEAR on your birthday. Then you begin to read the forecast for the 3 Personal Year. Make Sense?  I don’t want to rock your numerology world, yet it’s only fair to consider both options and see what works for you.
