8 Personal Year | June is a 5 Personal Month
🤔 Reflection for June: This is the month to take a break. Go explore, experience, and step off the beaten path.
Are you ready for a well-deserved break?Â
June is earmarked for some shake-ups. You could very well be presented with important new opportunities that come to your attention during the week of June 9th.
Travel, anyone? Yes, please!
Many of your ongoing projects are already advancing—you can see a glimpse of the finish line—or at least see the light at the end of the tunnel.
This is also a perfect month for you to receive some long-awaited respect and recognition—mixed conveniently with some financial returns.
This can come about it all kinds of ways, from gaining a promotion at work to finally getting the final financial pay out from a sale. There are opportunities lying in wait for those with the foresight and gumption to seek them out.
Remember that the 8 is also about power and influence. Are you making strides in this arena? Are you leaning into becoming the go-to expert in your field? Are you waiting with bated breath to see if that investor will come through on your business idea? Are you movin’ and shakin’ with the big boys and girls?
It’s the month to take some significant action to expand your horizons or advance your enterprises. Initiate some helpful changes around June 7th, or take advantage of some changes begun by others.
The vibe of the 5 brings in some frenetic energy that I’m hoping is a welcome respite from the slow-and-steady demands of May. Anything that allows you to collide with new and progressive people and ideas will assist your forward movement.
This can also be a nice time to relax for a moment and make time for your love life. The number 5 is all about bringing sexy back!
The energy of the 5 engages your desires around freedom. In what ways do you want to create more physical freedom, emotional freedom, financial freedom or any other levels of freedom that you feel strongly about?
Combined with the high-intensity vibe of your entire 8 Personal Year, you might be pondering these questions very deeply this month.
The 8 Personal Year can be a real butt-kicker and feel like quite the endurance race. The key is in how to best pace yourself. This can be a year where burn-out, frustration, and fatigue can take over. Or it can simply be that you’re so busy with so many important matters that demand your constant attention that you are burning the candle at both ends.
I have a wonderful French friend and I’ll give you her unsolicited advice. She will say that whenever things aren’t going as planned or if you feel you’re putting in so much work and not getting anywhere, that is the message (from the universe) to take a break! Get in the car and take an overnight trip, get out into nature, explore a new place. Then when you get back, you’re refreshed and have new energy and new perspective.
So please take her advice this month. Taking a break, having some fun, giving yourself the opportunity to refresh and reset is absolutely part of your successful productivity right now. It’s just often not the route you naturally take in the hard-driving 8 Personal Year.
Get out and enjoy yourself in June. Travel if possible, try new things, and just give yourself permission to relax and find pleasure where you can. You’ll come back revived and far more productive than you would be if you just push it and put in extra hours at the office.
The 8 Personal Year is demanding, so allow yourself this time to relax so you can come in strong next month.

Note: There are two schools of thought regarding the Personal Year.
The first is that it runs from January 1 – Dec. 31 of each calendar year.
The Personal Year is derived from adding together your MONTH of birth + the DAY of birth + the CURRENT YEAR.
Therefore, the logical flow is that it takes place for the calendar year for which it is being calculated.
**Remember: If you subscribe to this mode of thought, your Personal Month RESETS and CHANGES on January 1.
The second mode of thought is that the Personal Year runs from birthday to birthday, somewhat like a Solar Return in Astrology.
If you know my work at all, you’ll know that I’m someone who simply attempts to point out the different schools of thought and then the ball is in your court. It’s up to each of us to determine method makes the most sense to us and feels right or correct.
It’s like anything else in life. People can get really adamant about the correct diet (keto? paleo? vegan? gluten-free? vegetarian? and on and on).
You can go to different doctors with the same condition and get different courses of treatment. You can study Pythagorean numerology, or subscribe more to Chaldean numerology, or other modalities.
I don’t mean to belabor it, but it might surprise you how many people contact me and leave comments insisting that their particular methodology is the only right way to do it.
If you subscribe to the birthday-to-birthday way of thinking, you calculate this way:Â Using your birth date, add the MONTH + DAY + YEAR OF YOUR LAST BIRTHDAY
Just know that you’ll change into a new Personal Year on your BIRTHDAY, meaning that you’ll also change which Personal Year you read for your Forecast! This mode of thinking is more confusing until you wrap your brain around it. 💥
So I just want to be clear. It’s up to YOU to determine what school of thought feels right to you. And it’s ends up being just that: HOW IT FEELS. Sit with it. Ponder it. Feel into it.
If you feel the Personal Year runs from birthday-to-birthday, you will still reference the forecast for your Personal Year, yet the flow of it is a bit more wonky. Meaning: On your birthday, it switches gears and might feel as if it’s more of a dramatic or abrupt shift.
Either way, the forecast still applies to you. Just use your own mind, body, and spirit to make the most out of the information.
For those of you just starting to follow the monthly forecasts, I always share a photo of my Grand Dogs. Both of my daughter’s are proud dog Mom’s. Rio is a Pitbull mix and Oscar is a Wire-Haired Fox Terrier. ❤️
