6 Personal Year | December is a 9 Personal Month

End-of-Year Reflection 🎁

December holds out some possible emotional moments laced with a release and letting go of something outworn and outdated in your life. The energy of the month is about endings and completions, so the more you can flow and let go, the better of you’ll be and the better you’ll feel.

Take time to acknowledge how everything you’ve experienced in your 6 Personal Year has recalibrated your relationship life on every level. This year has brought a bunch of home and family issues to the forefront and also has invited you to step back from feeling responsible for everyone and everything — and instead focus also on giving yourself the self-care and nurturing that you want and need.

I trust you feel a strong sense of accomplishment and serenity in the domestic realm and within your relationship life.

It’s been a duty-filled time with a special emphasis on the family and close friend front. It’s also been a year where all relationships are under review.

I hope you’ve survived relatively unscathed. If not, know that the shifts are all for the better, despite the discomfort it invokes at the time.

December brings you a beautiful moment of respite, potentially, where you are wrapping up the decisions, choices, and happenings of the year and are attempting to place them into a larger context.

Now—onward and upward!

As if it isn’t enough that you’re in the final throes of it, tack on the 9 energy of December and understand that this is “round em’ up and move em’ out!” time. The 9 is the energy of letting go, completions, and surrender.

You might consider slowing down a bit this month and reviewing how the year started and now how it’s concluding. What have to chosen to keep in your life and nurture? And what have you decided to allow to dissolve, to fall away, or that you’ve made a concerted effort to leave behind?

As you leave your 6 Personal Year and enter into your 7 Personal Year starting next month, take some time to consider what was the locus of your home and family related year. What did you focus on? What were your over-arching intentions?

Did you find yourself feeling the desire to expand your emotional connections with people? Did you experience some warm and fuzzy moments with friends, family, and other important people in your life?

Perhaps you struggled with feeling as though you were giving too much and not leaving anything left on the plate to nurture yourself?

Or maybe you blazed through with blinders on and didn’t deal with the relationships in your life in a way that opened you to authentic exchanges and forging a deeper bond with the people you choose to keep in your life.

If that’s the case, the upcoming 7 Personal Year will have something to say about that!

In December, ready yourself for some conclusions and for some re-situations in your life that might show up as a surprise. The 9 always ushers in circumstances where there are some outdated aspects of your life that fall away — whether it’s a relationship dynamic, a job, or any other thing that’s been in hover-mode.  The energy of the 9 always demands a definitive decision.

And remember that this is always good! It might not feel like it as it’s happening because, hey, change isn’t a comfort-zone for most humans. Yet this is a month to “clear out the closet,” metaphorically speaking.

This upcoming year is the time for focusing on yourself in the deepest and most profound way. This year required that you extend yourself to others and that you perhaps placed your personal wants and needs second (or third or fourth
).

Starting in January, you get a hall pass to move inward and investigate the unspoken and mystical elements of life that are beginning to get your attention. Perhaps you’re simply feeling a need to learn something new that will assist you in elevating your job position or take you into another career altogether.

Is it time to seek counseling or therapy as you begin to question some of the ways your choices are showing up in your life? Perhaps a relationship is rocky, a certain aspect of your health needs a deep tune-up, or there’s some other unique circumstance that will demand your attention in the coming year.

There will be some deep-seated issues coming into play and you’ll want the time and solitude to process them accordingly. The trick of it is that you won’t even really know exactly what’s going on—you won’t have clarity about “the issue” because the issue itself will only be a jumping-off place for deeper unfolding.

This upcoming year (2025) is a vital pause and “resting” time meant for some internal work.  Getting ready for a planning, knowledge-gathering, and soul searching year ahead!

I’m dropping some vital astrological information into this forecast. Although I’m not an astrologer (I leave that to my astrology experts, primarily among them Tali & Ophira Edut “The AstroTwins”), as a numerologist, I find that the information both numerology and astrology offer is always intimately connected.

Astrologically, we’re making a massive shift.

As of November 19, 2024, the planet Pluto moved from Capricorn (where it declared residency for the past 16 years — since 2008) and into the sign of Aquarius.  The AstroTwins offer this outline:

Pluto’s upcoming journey through Aquarius, a sign of revolution, innovation, and the collective. From November 19 to Jan. 19, 2044, Pluto will ignite a new era of transformation, one that could radically redefine power structures and usher in a future where equality and freedom take center stage.

Pluto’s return to Aquarius could usher in another wave of societal transformation, and astrologers already feel it brewing.

While that might seem like a far-off ideal, Pluto has been known to deliver extreme shifts when it enters a new sign. While Capricorn clings to tradition, Aquarius is all about breaking free from convention and embracing the future.

The last time Pluto moved through Aquarius was from 1778 to 1798, and the world went through seismic shifts, from the American Revolution to the French Revolution. This era also dovetailed with the early days of the Industrial Revolution, which completely changed how societies functioned as we replaced farmed and handcrafted goods with machine-made and processed ones.

Pluto’s return to Aquarius could usher in another wave of societal transformation, and astrologers already feel it brewing. There could be a push toward systems that are more egalitarian, tech-driven, and inclusive as we move away from top-down structures to a more collective, grassroots energy.

Those of you who’ve followed me for a while know that I’m someone who offers different schools of thought as they show up in numerology—pointing out different modes of calculating the numbers and disparate ways different numerologist’s do things.

I have always pointed out that there are two schools of thought about the Personal Year. I’m hesitant to do constant reminders about it because, let’s be honest, it can be confusing! And let’s be honest again: Many people just want the 25-second byte of info without thinking much about it.

Be that as it may, I am going to remind you that there are two schools of thought about the Personal Year. Most numerologist’s use the January 1 – December 31st mode of thinking. Others proffer that the Personal Year is more like a solar return (for those of you who’re astrology-minded), instead running from birthday-to-birthday.

If you’re born at the first of the year, this doesn’t effect you as much. Yet once you hit mid-year and beyond, this can really make a difference. And how do you know what’s right and what’s not right?  BY HOW YOU FEEL! It’s up to each of us to feel it out and see what feels right to us individually.

**The key to avoid as much confusion if you want to explore the birthday-to-birthday scenario:  You would calculate your Personal Year based on the year of YOUR LAST BIRTHDAY. So if you’re reading this right now and your birthday is November 11, you would calculate your Personal Year by adding the Month + Day + LAST YEAR (2023).

In this example, it is 11 + 11 + 7 (2 + 0 + 2 + 3 = 7) = 29; and 2+9 = 11.  Up until 11/11, you’re in an 11/2 Personal Year and then you CHANGE INTO THE 3 PERSONAL YEAR on your birthday. Then you begin to read the forecast for the 3 Personal Year. Make Sense?  I don’t want to rock your numerology world, yet it’s only fair to consider both options and see what works for you.
