1 Personal Year | December is a 4 Personal Month

End-of-Year Reflection 🎁

You end the year in a somewhat serious or pensive way. The energy of the 4 of your Personal Month demands efficiency and that you take yourself and your endeavors seriously. A pie in the sky attitude just won’t cut it right now.

This is a time when you’re deeply reflective of where you might need more structure, more of a sense of stability in your life, and are aching to find ways to establish it.  These themes are key this month.

It’s a reflective month, given that we’re in the throes of the final moments of 2024.

Take time to acknowledge everything you’ve accomplished in your 1 Personal Year and how all of it has culminated into a new chapter in your life.

What’s the title of your “new book?”

This has been a year of new beginnings, embracing and identifying your independence and individuality while simultaneously blazing a new trail in your life.

You’re winding down from the beginning of a whole new cycle—a whole new nine-year cycle—and I daresay it’s had some touch-and-go moments, eh?

If you haven’t been actively involved in something new, chances are you’re feeling slightly out of whack right about now. And for those who follow the birthday-to-birthday mode of thought, this can be just the beginning or even the middle of your illustrious 1 Personal Year.

I hope you’ve felt the calling and have moved forward with verve and self-confidence, leaving old and outworn stuff from your life in the compost pile or at the consignment shop.

With that said, this is a somewhat serious way to finish out your 1 Personal Year. The 4 month demands some effort and fortitude. Talk about finishing strong!

December is set up as a foundations-setting month.

I’ve had a lot of conversations with people in their 1 Personal Year who are concerned (if not panicking) that they don’t feel they’ve managed to begin something new yet.

If this applies to you, here’s my numerology opinion and recommendation. If you have ideas and thoughts about what you want to start, please take the time and effort to write it down NOW, before the end of the year. Be as clear and directive as you can be. Envision it fully and completely.  How will it feel?

And then feel it AS IF it’s already your reality. Use all your imagination, all your senses, and really place your whole being into this time, space, and within this higher-level energy.

In this way, you’ll be using the powerful “new beginnings” energy of your 1 Personal Year.  Otherwise, I find that people who don’t have a somewhat clear sense of their new direction end up somewhat floundering for the next cycle of time. So use it or lose it!

Sometimes the 1 Personal Year brings in extreme changes. Sometimes the transitions are smoother and more seamless—and yet most of the time, these changes are very real and permanent shifts that show up as much more intense and palpable.

I also wanted to reassure any of you who’re experiencing a feeling of being stagnant, stuck or trapped within an old reality, this is the time to galvanize all your courage and make decisions that allow you to shake off the old, outworn, outdated life and open the doors for a new one.

If you can’t say out loud “I feel connected to my path and purpose in life,” then it’s up to you to choose differently. No matter how hard it feels right now, it is possible.

And if you’ve been shifting through these changes and rebuilding, creating, and reinventing yourself this year, do a check-in and give yourself some kudos.

This applies to both your inner and your outer worlds. This is often a time where a good therapist comes in handy, when you move geographically, or end up involved in an entirely different relationship or career trajectory.

The energy of the number 4 for the month also brings some old family issues or wounding up to be reconsidered and perhaps healed on some level.

With that in mind, you’ll potentially come face-to-face with a few emotional family moments during the holidays.  Although this is often the truth regardless of what Personal Year one might currently be experiencing, this might have some added intensity for you this time around.

Whatever form it takes, December presents a few of these opportunities for you to make some decisions about how to engage and how to disengage.

As you leave your 1 Personal Year and enter into your 2 or 11/2 Personal Year, take some time to consider what exactly you started this year.  What did you plant? What were your over-arching intentions?

Did you start a new career or did you just end one? Did you start a new relationship, end one, or hang on to one that has exceeded its expiration date?

Perhaps you graduated or started school. Maybe you’re working with a health issue or some other paramount issue that I haven’t mentioned because it’s so intense or unusual.

This upcoming year is the time for regrouping and slowing down. You’re entering a year where you’ll have time to devote to other people in a way that you haven’t had the time or the inclination to do during this past year—or, let’s face it—for the past three years.

Ready for love? Ready to take your career or business to a higher level? Is there a family situation crying out for your attention?

The 2 Personal Year is designed as a slow down and regroup period of time for you. It’s a resting period and also a time to tend to what you planted this year, so to speak.

2025 is a time of gestation. Get ready for more flow and less go as you move into your 2 Personal Year.

I’m dropping some vital astrological information into this forecast. Although I’m not an astrologer (I leave that to my astrology experts, primarily among them Tali & Ophira Edut “The AstroTwins”), as a numerologist, I find that the information both numerology and astrology offer is always intimately connected.

Astrologically, we’re making a massive shift.

As of November 19, 2024, the planet Pluto moved from Capricorn (where it declared residency for the past 16 years — since 2008) and into the sign of Aquarius.  The AstroTwins offer this outline:

Pluto’s upcoming journey through Aquarius, a sign of revolution, innovation, and the collective. From November 19 to Jan. 19, 2044, Pluto will ignite a new era of transformation, one that could radically redefine power structures and usher in a future where equality and freedom take center stage.

Pluto’s return to Aquarius could usher in another wave of societal transformation, and astrologers already feel it brewing.

While that might seem like a far-off ideal, Pluto has been known to deliver extreme shifts when it enters a new sign. While Capricorn clings to tradition, Aquarius is all about breaking free from convention and embracing the future.

The last time Pluto moved through Aquarius was from 1778 to 1798, and the world went through seismic shifts, from the American Revolution to the French Revolution. This era also dovetailed with the early days of the Industrial Revolution, which completely changed how societies functioned as we replaced farmed and handcrafted goods with machine-made and processed ones.

Pluto’s return to Aquarius could usher in another wave of societal transformation, and astrologers already feel it brewing. There could be a push toward systems that are more egalitarian, tech-driven, and inclusive as we move away from top-down structures to a more collective, grassroots energy.

With that said, this coincides with a powerful and transitional 9 Universal Year. If you’d like to know more about the 9 Universal Year and how to maximize its potential, see my 2025 Numerology Guide.

Those of you who’ve followed me for a while know that I’m someone who offers different schools of thought as they show up in numerology—pointing out different modes of calculating the numbers and disparate ways different numerologist’s do things.

I have always pointed out that there are two schools of thought about the Personal Year. I’m hesitant to do constant reminders about it because, let’s be honest, it can be confusing! And let’s be honest again: Many people just want the 25-second TikTok or Reel of info without thinking much about it.

Be that as it may, I am going to remind you that there are two schools of thought about the Personal Year. Most numerologist’s use the January 1 – December 31st mode of thinking. Others proffer that the Personal Year is more like a solar return (for those of you who’re astrology-minded), instead running from birthday-to-birthday.

If you’re born at the first of the year, this doesn’t effect you as much. Yet once you hit mid-year and beyond, this can really make a difference. And how do you know what’s right and what’s not right?  BY HOW YOU FEEL! It’s up to each of us to feel it out and see what feels right to us individually.

**The key to avoid as much confusion if you want to explore the birthday-to-birthday scenario:  You would calculate your Personal Year based on the year of YOUR LAST BIRTHDAY. So if you’re reading this right now and your birthday is November 11, you would calculate your Personal Year by adding the Month + Day + LAST YEAR (2023).

In this example, it is 11 + 11 + 7 (2 + 0 + 2 + 3 = 7) = 29; and 2+9 = 11.  Up until 11/11, you’re in an 11/2 Personal Year and then you CHANGE INTO THE 3 PERSONAL YEAR on your birthday. Then you begin to read the forecast for the 3 Personal Year. Make Sense?  I don’t want to rock your numerology world, yet it’s only fair to consider both options and see what works for you.
