The Pinnacles are four distinct periods of time that each of us experience—with the longest cycles being at the beginning and at the end of our lives, with two nine-year cycles in the middle. Each Pinnacle is a time of personal development.
The Pinnacles can be seen as the degree programs you signed up for during your life—and you get to study that particular subject matter for an extended period of time. Consider them to be like a master plan compartmentalized into stages of development. They are the building blocks of your life—and you take the experiences and skills learned throughout each cycle and bridge them to inform the next.
Each Pinnacle number represents the energy and lessons that are emphasized during a period of several years. Understanding the elements presented to you during your Pinnacle Cycles offers invaluable information about the focus and lessons to be learned during certain chunks of time, and also provides a great format for understanding why certain things happen during these periods of time. This is the environment in which you find yourself, offering you a particular trajectory through life.
In numerology, Pinnacles are sometimes called The Four Pyramids. Calculating your four Pinnacle Cycle numbers is not so much a predictive tool—although it can be used to map out a clearer vision of your past, present, and future—as a tool that offers support and guidance for your life decisions and actions.
I’m making the assumption that you know how to calculate the Pinnacles, or you wouldn’t be searching for information about the 8 Pinnacle!

8 PINNACLE
The key elements to an 8 Pinnacle are money, business, authority, ethics, personal power, and abundance. This is a stage where you’re bombarded with opportunities to embrace and define your personal relationship with power, money, and achievement. It has an intense focus on matters of responsibility, efficiency, power, authority, leadership, and management of financial affairs. Sounds exciting, right? Yet under the influence of the 8 Pinnacle, judgment is tested over and over again and your career becomes top priority.
This isn’t a particularly easy walk in the park. This Pinnacle requires substantial shifts in your life and your relationships. While your opportunities for achievement, recognition, and financial success are heightened, it’ll require a lot of strength, courage, and tenacity to do so. This isn’t an easy Pinnacle. It’ll demand a lot from you and won’t let up—remember, the 8 is a testing number and an amplifier. The 8 Pinnacle is also tricky because—while it supports all things relating to money, power, and authority—it’s unyielding in its demands that you get there through the use of the utmost ethics, honesty, integrity, solid leadership, and expressions of abundance.
The highest form of the number 8 has to do with giving as you’re receiving, with no strings attached. This is a time where you’re learning all about money—about what it means to you and doesn’t mean to you. It’s an extended period where you learn about what it takes to earn money and attract it—and also to spend it, possibly lose it, and gain it back again. It’s a period of time fully focused on the establishment of your sense of empowerment with high-level focus on achievement, becoming an authority in your field, and using power and influence for the good of all.
Aspects of the 8 Pinnacle are status, success, recognition, business, and commercial activity. If you keep with it, this Pinnacle is set up to usher in improvements in your financial and personal power realms. The focus is on creative practicality with an emphasis on organizational and management skills and abilities. This is a time where you become a respected authority in your field and have the opportunity to use your influence for the greater good. Thinking and behaving in a business-like way is heightened and your powerful manifestation skills can’t be contained when you’re in alignment with the 8 Pinnacle.
1st Pinnacle: With the 8 as a 1st Pinnacle, you may become involved and interested in business or commercial activity at a young age. You may be the kid who mows lawns and starts her own business or perhaps you tap into a more aggressive 8 energy and find other moneymaking endeavors that surprise the adults around you. The focus and dedication to your entrepreneurial enterprise is unyielding. You’ll face limitations and restrictions, which you’ll find frustrating or downright debilitating. Or alternately, you find the challenge motivating and invigorating. The 8 loves a challenge. You excel at practical thinking. This is a time where personal power is tested and established. The 8 Pinnacle brings power struggles with authority figures—parents, teachers, bosses or others. It’s an intense period teaching you how to step up or get stepped on. You’re learning the benefits of power vs. force, self-control vs. control over others, and healthy empowerment vs. disempowerment.
2nd or 3rd Pinnacle (Main Pinnacle): If you encounter an 8 during your 2nd or 3rd Pinnacle, you’re apt to find yourself immersed in the executive world or the world of finance—or you could be married to someone who is. You’re required to rely more on rational judgments and less on emotional impulses. This is a time to think with longer-range goals with a focus on financial health and wealth. This is a period where career takes center stage and requires effort and energy. Personal ambition and success are in the driver’s seat and the demands of this Pinnacle can’t be underestimated. Your assertiveness and reserve are tested again and again, challenging you to become an empowered person who uses well-won influence and financial affluence to forge connections to those who can make things happen. Status, respect, and power all key players during this Pinnacle. The shadow-side of this Pinnacle presents as a harrowing environment that grinds you down and spits you out. That might look like battling addictions, rebelliousness that gets you into trouble or any other route detouring you from stepping into an empowered existence.
4th Pinnacle: With a 4th Pinnacle, you’re not geared toward quiet retirement. The development and culmination of status, wealth, and power define this period—given that you act on both business principles and spiritual principles. This is your time to give back in substantial ways by using your gifts of money, power, and influence to help others. You’re moved to leave a lasting legacy in some way, shape or form by becoming an authority in your chosen field. This can be a time of true abundance with both monetary and spiritual rewards when you come to the table willing to take control of your life on every level.
